International Biennale Istanbul

The project's concept was to examine the
different regions of Istanbul and make a
social comment on what made that area
unique, using performance, installations or
interventions. To cover the city, ten groups
of students were allocated their own areas.

The book looks at the work that took
place in Balat/Fener done by Alex Jenkins

Monica Hernandez (MA Creative Practice
for Narrative Environment CSM), Bengisu
Ertek (BA Urbanism Mimar Sinan), Burak
Tokoglu (BA photography Mimar Sinan)
and Isık Dikmen (BA Graphic Design
Mimar Sinan)
